The Fermentorium Tasting Room

The Fermentorium Brewery and Tasting Room

Located just outside of Cedarburg at Five Corners on Highway 60 next to Cedar Crest Ice Cream, our craft brewery offers ample parking to get out of the main drag, while still being close to the heart of everything.

The brainchild of a locally-raised homebrewer, The Fermentorium opened its doors early in 2016. Currently offering 24 beers on tap, the brewery also distributes to restaurants and bars all over Southeastern Wisconsin.

May News

MCBL Tap Takeover
Thank you for everyone that came out last night for the Tap Takeover event! We still have beer on tap from many of our Milwaukee area brewery friends, so stop by and try out some amazing beer from local breweries that you may not have had a chance to try yet. We are also selling copies of Matthew Janzen’s book “State of Craft Beer”inside the tasting room.

Upcoming Beers
You may have noticed we've amped up our pilot output now that we have all these wonderful tap lines! This week is no different as we’re releasing two more pilots, Peaches & Cream, a low IBU, but massively dry-hopped lactose IPA with peaches and a New England style single hop IPA featuring Belma hops, which is quoted "to have an ambrosial mix of orange, melon, strawberry and pineapple with a slight hint of grapefruit." See for yourself Thursday! Safe Passage also makes its return to the regular lineup. Next week we will release a new IPA, Rainbows & Lollipops, dry-hopped with tons of tropical and citrus hops. Upcoming pilots include a Flanders-style sour red, an English Barleywine, a saison with Moscatel grapes and "Marmalade on Toast," a collaboration in the making with a new brewery on its way to Ozaukee County, Inventors Brew Pub.

Brewery Running Series
Time to dust off those running shoes! The weather is getting warmer and we are partnering up with the Wisconsin Brewery Running Series to host a 5k(ish) run, starting at the brewery. Enjoy a 5k-ish fun run through the surrounding neighborhood, parks, and streetscape. You can walk, jog, run… no one cares. We’ve mapped out an awesome course that starts and ends at the brewery and our guides along the way will make sure you know where to go. Cross the finish line and celebrate! All participants receive a FREE craft brew, Brewery Running Series Pint Glass, and a goodie bag filled with food and drink specials! Everyone is welcome to stick around and enjoy the day’s entertainment: live music, food trucks, and fun! Registration is limited, so sign up today!

Downdogs & Drafts
The next installment of Downdogs & Drafts with Tamara Sprenger will be at 11am on June 3rd. For $15 you get an hour yoga class and two beer tokens. Please bring your own yoga mat.

Food at the Fermentorium

Our brewery and taproom are exactly that. We make great beer and carry several flavors of local craft sodas for designated drivers, kiddos, and those who just feel like a pop. We have excellent purified water and hot tea for refreshments as well. Please no outside beverages, we take care of that department.

We all get peckish when we are out being social. The Fermentorium offers rotating snacks: currently a spicy mix and roasted peanuts for $1 each. We have also teamed up with The Stilt House to offer fresh, homemade potato chips, each week a rotating flavor for $2. We expect to continue to team up with local businesses to offer their fine fare as we grow, so we can do what we love and what we are good at: make beer.

     Outside Food Policy

BYO food! We have menus for local pizza delivery so you can call from here, just ask your friendly bartender. Pop over to Wayne’s Drive-In and bring back a cheeseburger to pair with your beer, or carry in any of the area restaurants’ fantastic meals. We have an open door policy for food.

Stay tuned for more updates! We are a growing business looking to complement our community and satisfy our guests, so will continue to offer more and varying options for your enjoyment.

Did you know that we have a pile of games for your enjoyment in the grey cabinet?

Operation, Trivial Pursuit, Cribbage and yes, even Parcheesi are available- among many others. Board game carry-ins are welcome if Parcheesi isn't your thing. So come by and enjoy a board game with your frosty beverage.

Beer Flight

Custom Beer Flights

Paul Janik, friend of The Fermentorium and the woodworker responsible for our coffee tables, community table and bar top is making custom beer flights for sale. Stop in the tasting room and grab one of these custom pieces before they're gone. You can also pick up some of our taster glasses for $5 each to complete the set.
